About CII – FBN India

The Family Business Network provides a secure and trusting environment for members to open up and discuss family and business issues threadbare, within the community.

CII’s journey in this space started in 1999. It collaborated with Family Business Network International – the most impactful global body for Family Businesses in 2005. Today FBN has 32 chapters spread across 65 countries with approximately 18000+ members out of which 6400 are NxtGen (comprising of leaders aged between 18yrs to 40yrs).

In partnership with the Family Business Network, the FBN India chapter works on all dimensions of Family Businesses with the vision of making business families thrive and transform across generations to build a sustainable future. It is a community of communities with thrust pillars as family sustainability, family values and governance mechanisms, succession planning, transition to NxtGen leadership, entrepreneurship, wealth creation through Family Offices, being future ready, Learning Journeys, mentoring and internship and several interventions related to India specific knowledge creation and knowledge dissemination.
